Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Happy Tuesday, peeps! Today I’m back with a Top Ten Tuesday post! This week’s prompt is to share books that I’d like to read again. The following books are the ones I plan to reread:
1. Summer Bird Blue by Akemi Dawn Bowman
This is a story about dealing with grief and loss and even though it is heartbreaking, I loved the author’s writing style and plan to read this again soon.
2. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
I want to immerse myself in the world of adorable and awkward Lara Jean again!
3. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
After watching the amazing movie adaptation of this book Greta Gerwig, I plan to reread this book (and this book edition is on my wishlist too!)
4. Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens
I had read this book as a kid and have totally forgotten the story by now. I wish to read this classic again.
5. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain
Oh, my! I remember how Tom fooled his classmates to paint the wall for him lol (as depicted in the book cover)! He was so mischievous! As with Oliver Twist, I need to revisit the tale of Tom Sawyer again.
6. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
I loved this book when I first read it! I definitely want to reread this book again.
7. The Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger
I know a lot of people hate this book, but I loved it and would surely like to read it again!
8. Persuasion by Jane Austen
This is a short and sweet book by Jane Austen and I would love to read this again.
9. Circe by Madeline Miller
I adored Madeline’s beautiful prose and would love to pick this up once more.
10. Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert
This is the only non-fiction on the list haha! However, this book is really inspiring and I plan to pick this book up again whenever I doubt my creative abilities.
