Hello everyone! Today I thought I would start a new kind of post, a post where I share all thats going on in my life. There are variations of this kind of post on a lot of blogs, so I thought I would share tidbits of my life as well!
First of all, I recently got enrolled into a Post-Graduate Degree program! Yay! I was so glad that I got selected. The classes have started and are all online for now as India’s covid battle is still on! Being a student again after having worked for a while feels so strange, but it’s fun too. Of course, I am busy with my studies, and hardly find any time to read, which is a shame. When there are no classes, there are projects and homework to do. My exams just got over recently as well, which was the reason for my short absence from the blog. The course is stressful, but nevertheless, its a good experience.
Also, I have made quite a few friends in my class, but I was not particularly fond of the fact that we had to form several groups for every subject. Making groups is NOT easy for me as an introvert. It gave me so much stress, oh my god! Everyone else in my class seemed to easily form groups and I was panicking and overthinking, wondering if I would even be selected by anyone. However, I was finally able to form groups and this headache is over for now.
Secondly, it was my birthday last month, on 24th September! I turned 28! I had, at the beginning of the year, imagined that this covid problem would be solved by the time my birthday came around. Oh boy, was I wrong! I, like many others this year, spent my birthday at home, but it was a good day. We had chocolate cake, pizzas and an Indian delicacy called Kheer, made by my mum, which is just delicious! I received a lovely gift from my two best friends living in different cities and overall, I can say that I had a good time and am grateful.
Also, I got a Kindle, you guys!! After contemplating for so long, I decided to buy it and am so happy with it! It’s so much easier to read on a Kindle than on an iPad. Love my little Kindle!
Thirdly, I have been spending plenty of time on Youtube and have discovered some wonderful bookish Youtubers. There’s Books with Leo, The Artisan Geek, Morgan Long and Noelle Gallagher. Love their content!
Last but not the least, I saw the Dune trailer. It looks magnificent. I also saw the cast’s Q & A session with Stephen Colbert on the Nerdist channel on Youtube and loved it. Do check it out if you can! I even bought the Dune ebook on my Kindle after watching the trailer. I have started reading it and am just on the first chapter, but it looks like a good read.
And that’s it! How has your life been? Any new developments? Do you like these kind of posts and would like seeing more of these in the future? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
