It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week, there is no specific prompt and you are free to come up with your own ideas. So, I have decided to make a list of my favourite book-to-movie or show adaptations.
1. The Baby-Sitters Club
The Baby-Sitters Club is a series of novels written by Ann M. Martin and has been adapted into a TV show on Netflix. The TV series is feel-good and the girls forming the club are just adorable and relatable!
2. Crazy Rich Asians
Crazy Rich Asians is the first book in a trilogy written by Kevin Kwan and has been adapted into a movie which made waves for its Asian representation. The movie is amazing and I loved it!
3. The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is a novel written by C.S. Lewis in a series called The Chronicles Of Narnia. The book was turned into a 2005 movie which I really liked!
4. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is the first book in a trilogy authored by Jenny Han which was adapted into a movie on Netflix. I love the first movie so much!
5. Love, Simon
I loved Simon vs The Homosapien’s Agenda written by Becky Albertalli and the movie Love, Simon adapted from the book was equally adorable!
