My Christmas and New Year Traditions

This is my sixth list in the #Project14lists, a blogging project initiated by the lovely Shealea. She is also hosting a great giveaway. If you haven’t checked it out already, find all the details here.

Merry(Belated) Christmas everyone! I know Christmas was two days ago, but lets be honest, Christmas celebrations don’t end until the New Year arrives. I thought I would share my annual Christmas and New Year traditions with you guys.

1. Watching Home Alone Parts 1 and 2

Home Alone and Home: Lost in New York are two of my favourite Christmas movies of all time. Watching the adorable Kevin outwit the two robbers is just plain hilarious. I will never get tired of watching these two movies.

2. Watching the ball drop in New York on New Year’s Eve

It’s already the morning of 1st January in India when it’s midnight in New York. I love watching various singers singing in Times Square and the eventual ball drop at the strike of midnight on TV.

3. Decorating the Christmas Tree

My brother is the chief decorator of the Christmas tree and except this year, as he is lazy(and so am I hehe), we buy a (fake) tree and decorate it beautifully.

These are my Christmas and New Year traditions. Do you have any annual traditions? I would love to know!
